Hello
I received an alert yesterday saying "Warning: PC infected, call..." etc., so I turned off the computer and ran a full scan with Comodo. But this morning I wanted to finish the cleaning and I couldn't open CCleaner.

Well, CCleaner isn't really useful... and even less so after an infection.
A cleanup once every 3 to 6 months is sufficient.
Comodo is a resource hog, so it's probably causing the CCleaner problems.
Regarding the alert:
It's a message from a support scam designed to make you believe that your PC is infected to get you to call a support center....
The goal of this support is to reassure you that your computer is infected, ultimately making you buy software at inflated prices or subscribing to remote support services, all for prices exceeding 150 euros.
These fake virus messages try to block the web browser and indicate that the PC is infected; they come from:
- advertisements on illegal streaming/torrent sites
- ads on Facebook also spread them.
In the past, phone campaigns where you would receive a call from a technician pretending to be from Microsoft were also used.
Your computer is not infected.
These fake virus alerts are common and not just in this context; for example, these fake alerts can also be used to push unreliable cleaning software (Reimage, PCKeeper, MacKeeper, etc.). Read these files to understand well and have examples.
