    Hi,
yes, absolutely, it’s just the normal method... :-)
you normally need a tool to insert the wires into the CAD (auto stripping contacts), but a very fine plier or even a small screwdriver can work too; you need to push the wire all the way in without removing the insulation.

    and... there you go!

Thank you very much for your response. I suppose you are talking about that small tool which is planned and inserted in the casing? (under the slot where the plug is connected in the photo) .. however, I don’t see how to unclip it, I tried to remove it by pulling on it but it won't come off, is there a trick or am I just being silly? lol ... on the other hand, I will need to buy about ten meters of telephone cable, is ordinary standard cable sufficient or is there another type that would be better suited?

        The cable,
of the PTT298, is useful for various purposes and especially for this, and can be found in all the stores that sell electrical equipment.
I don't see the tool in your photo, but it's true that we used to find it hanging in the old DTI:
in any case, you just need to pull on it to take it.

For the tool I'm talking about in my attached photo, it seems to be at the bottom of the casing, on the right of what looks like a domino just below the T-shaped hole where you plug in a socket. I’ve tried pulling it, but it seems stuck! Anyway, it’s not a big deal; I’ll connect the wires in the CAD using a small screwdriver... have a good weekend and thanks again for your help! ;)

It is well located at the bottom, just below the power strip.
You really have to pull on it, and it’s often very hard. It feels like you’re tearing off the casing because you have to pull so hard.
Place your hand firmly on the power strip to prevent the plate from moving forward and pull firmly on the tool. I had to use pliers to grip the tool at that point.
It’s really very hard, but it comes out.

Thank you, I did try this method with a pair of pliers but I can't budge this little tool from its housing even by a millimeter! ...it's like it's glued in!
