Hello everyone,
I am working on AutoCAD 2015, and I would like to print my AutoCAD plans at the correct scale.
I have set my drawing to a scale of 1:1 and I don't know what scale to enter on my layout to get a drawing printed at 1:250 on an A3 page.
I tried entering a new value of 1:25 where I set that 1 unit on the drawing equals 25 on paper, but once printed, my drawing came out 4X smaller.
What should I do!!
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 62.0.3202.94

Hello,
You need to create a presentation window (at the bottom, next to the object tab).
In it, right-click on the tab with its name to access the print settings. Set the paper size to A3.
For the scale, it depends on your drawing unit: if for you 1m50 is 1.5, it will give you 1000mm = 1 unit; if you worked in cm (150), then 10 mm = 1 unit; and in millimeters (15000), 1 mm = 1 unit.
Apply these parameters to the presentation.
Next, place the window where the object space is displayed appropriately on the sheet. Double-click inside to activate it, then type "zoom" "1/250xp".
And there you go, you are at 1/250 on an A3.
(But keep in mind that the 250th is quite tricky; it's preferable to work at the 200th or 500th.)
