Second user account: unable to delete it

Hello,

On my computer, when I turn it on, I have two accounts with the same name, one without a photo, but whether I go to one account or the other, it always seems to bring me to the same session. I just changed my user account name, which means my "second session" is no longer accessible: the password never seems to work. I would like to remove this account from startup, so I looked in "Manage your accounts," but the computer seems to find only my main session and nothing else. I would like to specify that the session "to be deleted" has a particular display: it asks me for the username (unlike my main account), and below the password, it says "Sign-in options," where it offers to log in using a Microsoft account.

Anyway, does anyone know how to delete this account once and for all?
Thank you for reading, and thanks in advance for any responses

Have a good day :)

P.S.: I'm on Windows 10

I found it! Not very complicated:

    -> Open the command prompt
-> Type "net user Guest active: no

    And there you go :p

    Hello.

Press the WINDOWS and R keys
In the left menu —► Command Prompt (admin) or Powershell (admin)
In the command prompt window, type
    net user administrator /active:no

There seems to be only one user. It's really strange though, there are two that show up at startup, but by the way, if I just decide to log out, the second user doesn't appear anymore. I don't understand how to solve this problem :/

Press the WINDOWS and R keys
    Type netplwiz
    Look at the users.

It has been a very long time since I've had these two users, so a restoration won't change anything :/

No, there is no problem, it's the brand new Windows that will be installed.
But on the other hand, personal applications will need to be reinstalled, no license key will be required.

    Hi LLL72

I think I have the same problem as you. When I start my PC, it offers me a choice between user accounts, but the problem is that both seem to be under the same session... I can't seem to delete them... The issue presents itself like this (I'll send a photo if that can help you)

Thank you for your response, but I just tried and it says that the command has been executed, but when I restart, nothing changes. I also tried changing "administrateur" to my_username and now it tells me that it doesn't exist at all.

Check if there are any system restore points.
Press the Windows and R keys
    Type rstrui.exe

To say, I even reset my PC (keeping my data), and at first I no longer had this account, but an Administrator account. I had done the net user, and it had deleted it, and the second account (the same as before) came back in its place.

It's incredible, after reinstalling Windows, the intruder is still there, but
it's the intervention of the holy spirit, back up your data on an external drive using software like Easeus backup Free and then reinstall Windows by wiping everything.

I would have done it, but my original Windows is 8; I upgraded a few years ago (to be on W10), and I really don't feel like going back to Windows 8 now...
So you think it's hopeless, right? ^^

Oh really? Well, I'll have to do that, but I can't today since I don't have much time and need the PC as it is for tomorrow ^^
Anyway, thank you for your patience, and thank you for your solutions :D
    Have a good evening :)
