Printing a half-page of a PDF document

Good evening,

I am posting this message as I haven't found a satisfactory answer so far.

I have a PDF page in A4 format. This page contains a half (21x14.8) of information that I wish to print. The other half is of no interest to me. Therefore, I would like to print only the useful half in A5 format (without enlargement), so to print a PDF page in A5.

Are there any tips, tricks that remain simple and allow the printing of the A4 document to accomplish the above (printing properties or anything else)?

Have a very good evening everyone,
Alex

There must be a way that works:

You zoom in to display only the area you want to print on the screen (your screen needs to support this as the function only prints what you see).

In the print window, check "active view" in the options, and for the size option, check "Fit".

You also need to set the paper size to A5 for the printer. The easiest way is to print to PDF using a virtual printer (PDFCreator) and then actually print the result.

Another solution: you can download Adobe Acrobat "Professional" as a trial version. It has a cropping function that allows you to resize your A4 page to A5 (but you'll only be able to use it for a short period without purchasing it afterward).
