Hello,
I am using Microsoft Word 2003.
I am working on a page in "landscape" orientation, and I would like to split my page vertically into two, which means I would have text on the left and text on the right.
I have searched the internet, and I found the function: format => Columns. The problem is that when I do that, my page switches to "portrait" mode.
So far, I have not found any other solutions.
Thank you for your responses.

Hello LauurineZel, and welcome to the new registered member.
What you want to achieve is not a "draft" page, but a "landscape orientation" page, as opposed to the default portrait orientation.
So you open a new document, go to Page Layout/Orientation/Landscape then Page Layout/Columns/Two. That’s all ...
No text box, no outline mode!
I didn't understand your action "I found the function: format => Columns. The problem is that when I do that, my page goes into 'page' mode, so a vertical page"!
Best regards.
