Connecting a DVD player to a TV

Hello,
I would like to connect my Sony CD/DVD Player (compact disc digital video) to my Thomson HDMI Led TV with integrated TNT. I receive the TV signal with my antenna and not through my livebox. I was told that I just needed to connect the antenna cable (attached photo) to the TV and to the DVD player, but that doesn't work. Is there any operation I need to perform afterwards with the DVD remote control (attached photo)? I am also attaching photos of the connections located behind my DVD player.
I thank everyone who can help me.

Yes, that's right, and my TV has a SCART connector. When I plug it in, I'll let you know if it's working. Thank you very much.

Hello everyone, Just passing by (as a complement) some televisions switch automatically to the DVD player (or other devices via the SCART) without having to select a source ("TV/DVD") on the remote control...

Correct about the old TVs, automatic switching in place especially for the old Canal Plus decoder systems, but for the new TVs...???

I have a recent Toshiba that switches on its own... (and I also have an AYA but the components in the AYA are marked Toshiba, (My Toshiba remote controls the AYA and vice versa, good to know when you've misplaced a remote, this trick also works with Techwood brand)).

PS:
I bought the AYA at the end of August 2017...
