How to block a shower diverter

Hello,
I am an intern and my shower has a push button.
I wanted to know if anyone has an idea or a trick to keep the button pressed for the time it takes to take my shower?
Because the shower turns off every ten seconds and it's very complicated to wash under these conditions, especially with winter approaching when a good shower is really beneficial.

    • Ask your roommate to hold down the button... Then you will do the same for him.
    • If you are alone in the room, negotiate with a dorm neighbor.
    • Depending on the shape of the push button, you can try to hold it with a clamp.
    • If you are handy, you can change the setting so that the opening duration is longer.
    • If you need to occupy this room for a while, have a plumber replace the button with a real faucet; but upon your departure, you will need to restore the installation to its original state!
