80s-90s Cartoons?

Hello everyone!
For several days now, I’ve been searching in vain for the name of an animated show I watched when I was little and I remember very little about it, so I'm reaching out for help! :) Here are my memories:
- I think it was on a video cassette (ah, the 90s :') ) but it was given to me, so it's possible that the show aired on TV as early as the 80s
- I believe it was a French animated show, so definitely not a “manga,” a real “animated show”
- and finally, the only really conclusive clue (!) was that there was a kind of moon with a face in the opening theme (I'm almost sure), and the voice sang “...even the moon...” when the moon appeared.
So, let's just say I'm desperate :D
