Hello,
I bought an Epson XP 245 printer. The seller assured me that it was compatible with my MacBook Air, but I'm unable to print anything.
I downloaded the drivers from the Epson website and installed them.
The printer is recognized, but when I try to print, it says "the printer is remote" and it prints out gibberish.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 10.1.2

Good evening,
I don't know much about Macs, but it's said to be compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later and all versions of Windows... so it's a printer that works everywhere...
I don't think the problem lies with the printer but rather with the configuration you've done on the Mac..?
How is the connection made..? via WiFi or USB..?
Let's say I would trust USB more... Does it work in this mode..?
If you're on WiFi... the distance that matters is between your router and the printer.... not the distance from the PC to the printer..
The path is PC--->ROUTER--->Printer. -

OK, he is blonde...? I'm sorry,
but my explanation remains the same
a photo of the printed page would be a useful plus...
which suggests that there has never been a configuration..?
maybe that's what's missing... Be sure to read the installation manual carefully.
