Hello,
I have an HP PROBOOK450 that runs on Windows 8. It won't start anymore since this morning. (For info, the hard drive was changed a few months ago)
When I plug it in, the power button, the num lock button, the Wi-Fi button, and the sound button all blink, as well as the connection point for the cable.
When I try to start it, it keeps blinking (no sound / no image)
I unplugged it, removed the battery, pressed and held the power button for a long time, put the battery back in, reconnected it => nothing new
I changed the battery (just in case) => nothing new
I dusted the inside => nothing new
It won't start; it just blinks. I tried to count the number of blinks, but actually, it's continuous...
If anyone has any idea or solution, I would appreciate it.
Thank you all,

Hello, I will try to help you:
remove the battery, then press the start button for 10 seconds... then reinsert the battery, restart, and press Ctrl Alt Delete at the same time... otherwise, press the recovery button corresponding to F3 or F8, depending on the brand, check for your PC... thank you... -
Hello, I went on some forums, oops... maybe... I say maybe based on what I understood:
memory RAM issue... not too serious...
when you restart, does the fan turn?
finally, I'm leaning towards the memory stick....
otherwise, by elimination... possibly the hard drive... graphics card or more seriously the processor... thank you.. -
small noise = hard drive... memory stick or faulty fan... so your PC must go into safety mode to avoid overheating the processor... thank you
