Question

Hello, I would like to get help with a video playback issue on the internet that I've been experiencing for several months. I can play a video on YouTube, a news site, or others, but if I decide to open other videos afterward, they do not start: nothing launches, no image, and no sound. Sometimes, after simply browsing the internet, it is also not possible to play the very first video I try to watch. I want to clarify that this happens regardless of the browser: Mozilla or IE. My codecs are up to date. Flash Player is up to date. My browsers are up to date. I don’t have any viruses or anything: I’ve checked everything thoroughly with my antivirus and malware. I think the problem comes from my Windows 7. The fact that I had to reinstall my Windows after my hard drive failed is probably the source of the issue. My computer is an HP Pavilion. One more thing: I have no video playback problems with my offline playback software. Thank you for your help!  :   Configuration: Windows / Firefox 55.0

Hello,  FireFox is at version 56.. you're not up to date...  Who is your Internet service provider and what is the model of your BOX..?  Give the address of one or two videos that are causing you problems...  I think it's your ISP that is breaking the video communication...  Give the version of Windows and the exact model of your PC... HP makes thousands of "Pavilion" models (with only one "L"

Yes, but you should have at least given one...  Is it about streaming movies...??? for example  Do you have other connected devices at home (phone, tablet, gaming console, television)...?? Is it the same on all these devices..??

Re!  I'm sorry for not providing a link, but this issue happens to me on all sites and all videos without exception, whether it's on YouTube, a streaming site, a news site like BFMTV for example, on Yahoo Videos, etc. When I open IE or Mozilla, the first video will start playing (unless I've browsed other sites without videos beforehand), but the next videos won't play: I always have to close Mozilla or IE to watch a new video! I have two other computers at home and I have no problems with them; it's only on the HP Pavilion. Everything is connected to SFR at my place: phone, TV, and computers. The issue is only with this computer since I had to reinstall Windows 7.  Thank you!

Your Windows 7 may not have received all the updates yet...  -- Your version of Flash Player...  -- You might have some site blocking settings or anti-popup or ad-blocking settings...?? There is certainly a difference with your other PCs... but I can't guess them, we would need to be in front of the PCs and compare.  SFR is poorly paired with TF1 and its MyTF1 replay, there's not much left.  You might also need to load VLC and the VLC plugin for Firefox  Also, check the DNS addresses you are using..?? I recommend DNS1: 208.67.222.222
