Removing the password from a Fujitsu Siemens (Lifebook) BIOS

Generally, to remove a BIOS password, you just need to clear the CMOS. For that, you have to remove the CMOS battery (in addition to the computer battery and of course with the power cable unplugged) for a certain period of time, then put it back.
not easy on a laptop! because the battery is often hidden, maybe there’s a chance in a slot under the battery
-or once the battery is removed, it short-circuits the terminals in its slot.
-Otherwise, the most logical solution is to find the jumper on the motherboard that is specifically used to clear the CMOS.

You need to look around each jumper to see if there’s an indication like for example: Reset, battery, Clear CMOS. Once found, move the jumper from position 2-3 to 1-2 or something like that...

Of course, you should unplug the power cord before any work inside the PC, and don’t forget to discharge static electricity by touching a metal part, the motherboard might not like it...
