Hello,
in SAMSUNG UHD 4K TVs, I noticed (unlike Philips or LG, for example) that there is no headphone jack.
Since there will be one HDMI port available out of the 3 or 4, is there an HDMI to mini jack adapter?
In that case, if I plug the headphones into this adapter, can I mute the TV sound?
Will I have the same service as with a built-in headphone jack?

Hello,
If the television only has a "Digital Optical" Audio output
The optical output is digital, the headphone is analog. Therefore, you need a digital optical (Toslink) to 3.5mm jack converter and the optical connection cable.
Example:

So the solution from Baladur13
(which I had posted in a message and then deleted, isn't great in terms of sound.
Personal trial with this setup:
> parasitic style loud sound like when you plug in headphones.
> sound more or less bad
> bad sound effect)
Or
A TV headset with optical input.
Example: optical input, rechargeable, battery-operated
(simple example, I don't know this model, you need to check around and compare)

Ask the seller for advice when buying the TV so you don't make a mistake.
(sell your current headset and put a little more towards buying the new one, think of it as an investment...)
But it would still be necessary to know the precise model of your current headset.
Who knows, you might have an optical input on it without realizing it. :-)After finding a solution, remember to mark it as RESOLVED.
Also, giving feedback is always nice towards those who helped you THANK YOU!!! :-) -
