Hello,
For a few days now, after launching Origin, the application's window turns black and green. So I decided to re-download the app. However, after going through all the steps of the download, Origin refuses to open: I double-click on the icon, which appears on the bar at the bottom but disappears two seconds later. I have tried re-downloading several times, restarting the computer, I have searched through the files on the computer (unsuccessfully) and I have looked at all the topics discussing Origin not launching, but none actually correspond to this problem. Normally, I can fix small issues with Origin, but this time, I don't understand. This happened to me about 6 months or a year ago, but I can't remember how I managed it.
Thanks in advance
P.S.: The internet is working fine and all other applications on the computer are too.

Good evening,
Where did you get your "Origin," from the publisher's site?
What is your Mac model and what version of OS X is it running?
Do a search with Spotlight and the word "origin" to locate the file with the .plist extension, move it to the trash, and try restarting Origin; what happens?

When it's urgent, it's already too late (Talleyrand)
When everything has failed, read the manual ;)

You say your MacBook is from 2009, but which model exactly? There were 3 variations of this model in 2009. How much memory do you have? To find the information and give it to me, here's a helpful guide since it's possible that you are running low on memory.
You didn't mention whether you managed to open it with the new installation!
What you can do is delete the current file using AppCleaner, then reinstall to see what happens.
I'm going to try to delete some personal files to see if it's due to lack of space.
Thank you
I hadn't tried to launch Origin again for a few days. I did it today hoping it would work. I had transferred data to a USB stick, re-downloaded the app multiple times, but nothing.
My MacBook is from 2009, 13 inches. I checked the Origin website and I have the right processor. As for the memory, I looked in the settings and I found 4 GB 800 MHz of memory.
I don't know much more since the computer was given to me three years ago.
Thank you.
