Hello,
I'm taking a 1,800 W ceramic heater in my camper van.
In campsites, the power terminals are 6 A (at best 10 A).
Can I use my heater without tripping the circuit?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Michel

Hello,
This question is rather off-topic in this section of the site primarily dedicated to the Web.
It would be more advisable to reformulate it on
https://bricolage.linternaute.com/forum/chauffage-et-climatisation-7
the site of the same group as CCM where it can be addressed in a more targeted and relevant manner.
Thank you.
If your device is powered by 220 volts
Maximum heating (1800w) the current is around:
1800/220 = 8 Amperes.
Therefore, a socket protected by a 10 Ampere fuse should be used.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
