Grayed out photos full or half

Hello,

I just transferred my memory cards to my computer to view my photos.
Unfortunately, some of them are more or less gray (gray like a cropped image that has been filled in with gray).
What can I do to recover them?
I’m trying to send you a picture as an example.

Thank you in advance for your responses,

Alice

    Hello Alice,
I assume you've tried transferring several times to see if the problem persists? Are you getting exactly the same images?
I think it's more likely to be an issue with writing to your memory card.
    What model is it?

      Thank you for your response,
Unfortunately, I cut my photos from the memory card to transfer them to my computer... and when transferring that same file elsewhere, I encounter the same problem, which is logical I guess since it is not the original.
I have a SanDisk Ultra Plus 64 GB memory card purchased at Fnac and a Strontium Nitro 466x 32 GB purchased in New Zealand.

Just a little clarification: most of my damaged photos have their thumbnails correct, as if the photo was fine.

Do you have the same issue with both cards?
The problem comes either from transferring your memory card to your computer, or from writing on your card.
      To be sure:
Take some photos with your device, and try to transfer them to your computer by copy-pasting. If the photo is grayed out, try transferring it again. If you get exactly the same result, it’s a writing issue from your card.

      Hello db89.

My issue comes from my memory card from New Zealand.
I just took some photos with it and copied them to my computer.
There’s no problem with the photos; none of them are damaged.

I think my mistake was cutting and pasting my photos, so I couldn't transfer them again.
The memory card seems to be working.

Do you think my damaged photos can be recovered?

      Thanks for your help.

      Alice

I spoke too quickly. I only looked at my first photos. They are good, but the rest are once again grayed out or completely without an apparent thumbnail, and the file cannot be opened.
