Hello,
for double-sided printing, you need to look in your printer settings, not in Word!

Thank you, Electricien 69, but as I explained to PapyLuc, my problem is not the choice of printing, but rather being able to set it as default, so that all my documents print double-sided right away (without having to change the setting every time).
And this should be possible from Word (as I used to do in previous versions)
I thank you nevertheless for taking the time to respond to me.
Good evening

Hello,
Greetings Electricien 69
> lixette: from Word it is possible to access the properties of a printer (my Office is 2013).
File > Print > click on printer properties under the box where its name is written.

PapyLuc, Thank you for your response
But I have no trouble printing double-sided (lengthwise, widthwise, or sideways - wink) what I can't figure out is where to click to make this action DEFAULT) I used to be able to do it in an earlier version of Word, but now I can't.!
Have a good evening and thank you for responding to me

Can you take a screenshot of the printer interface page, print options tab please?
As I mentioned earlier, Office loads the print driver, it’s in your printer driver settings that you need to set it as default!
All documents will be printed double-sided!
Office alone does not manage the print driver!
Check your printer’s manual and you’ll see :-)

Hello Electrician 69 - I finally managed to solve my problem after a bit of trial and error. Therefore, there’s no need to send you my screenshot, but here’s a little GIF as a thank you for your support. (I hope it goes through)
Best regards

Hello Lixette.
You found the solution you were looking for on your own, that's great; the spirit of this forum is to share it with everyone.
Best regards-
- Sorry for the delay, PapyLuc, I was absent. So, here's how I did it:
After clicking on the "Start" menu on my computer, I searched for =˃ "Settings" =˃ then "Printers" =
I selected my printer (for me Canon MG5300) and right-clicked on it to reach "Properties"
In "Properties" under the "General" tab, I also clicked on "Preferences" and when the "Quick Setup" box appeared, in the Print options I simply had to check the box "Duplex Printing", finally found!!!
I finished by checking "Default" (there is no "default" option here) and then "Always print with current settings"
And it works!!! Did I answer correctly?
Anyway, thank you both, it’s always nice to find people who listen and try to solve our problems without judging our (sometimes) rather pitiful performances!
Best regards
