Hello,
I need to create badges for a conference using mail merge. So far, nothing complicated. However, these badges need to be double-sided so that they can be read even if they flip over.
Does anyone know how to do this in Word?
Thank you very much!
Sophie

Hello Sophie,
Page 1 of your Word document contains the labels for all the badges
of the press conference. The winner will be the one who wins
the Pulitzer Prize (Loïs Lane is the favorite; in second place: Clark Kent). 😉
A) If your printer can physically print double-sided:
1) Copy and paste in Word to create a page 2
identical to page 1.
2) In your printer properties, select the
“double-sided” mode.
3) In the usual “Print” window, check the box
“double-sided” to print your document
as 2 pages.
B) If your printer cannot print double-sided:
1) No need to do the copy/paste mentioned above.
2) Print page 1 twice, then use scissors and glue!
Best regards. 😊

Hello Albkan,
Thank you for your help. I had the same idea as you. The problem is that by doing it this way, the front and back don't match. Let me explain: if I put Mr. A and Mr. B on the same page 1, and then copy and paste that onto page 2, Mr. B becomes the front of Mr. A and vice versa.
I'm not sure if that’s clear.
There is indeed the solution of cutting them manually, but there will be numerous guests, so I'm looking for a quicker solution (if one exists, of course...)
Sophie- OK, so we should be able to use method A); then try this:
Your Word document has one page, and on this page 1, there are the labels
for all the badges; when you have the "Print" window open, set the number
of copies to 2 and print double-sided.
If it worked:
a) No need to copy/paste sheet 1 to sheet 2.
b) Reply to this message to let me know it worked.
c) Click at the top of the page on "Mark as resolved".
If not, read on:
I didn’t quite understand what you wrote: "if I put Mr. A and Mr. B
on the same page 1"; on the same what? in the same spot
of the same reserved box for a badge, right?
