Hello*
After finally getting new cartridges, I can't print "printer inactive"
Advice online says to go to 'This PC'? But there isn't one on this Mac.
I AM CLUELESS in these areas; thank you.

Hello,
You go to the Apple menu/System Preferences/Printer and make sure your printer is properly set up. If necessary, go to Canon's website, download the driver for your OS, and install it.
How is your printer connected to the MBA? USB cable or something else?

When it’s urgent, it’s already too late (Talleyrand)
When everything has failed, read the manual ;)

I installed the drivers. My printer printed one photo, just one. Since then, it's been impossible.
But the issue with installing the drivers is resolved.
I downloaded them online and followed their instructions.
