How good is the AMD A9-9420? Solved

Hello, I bought a new PC having a rough idea of the power of my processor but not in detail, so I was wondering how good this processor is and my PC in general. Here are the specifications:

-CPU: AMD A9-9420 7th generation dual core
-GHz: 3.0 / 3.0 (which can be boosted to 3.6)
-GPU: AMD Radeon R5 Graphics
-RAM: 4GB
-SSD 128GB + HDD 1TB

So, I would like to know what type of games I could run as well as software to give me an idea, thanks!

Yes, some i5 CPUs from Intel for laptops are also just Dual Cores, like the i5 6200U or 7500U, but some are real Quad cores, like the i5 6300 HQ, and if we compare their scores to your CPU, we see a clear difference:

Hi,

Light and not very heavy games, don't expect to run the latest releases on Ultra. The R5 graphics chip is likely the one integrated into the processor and as such, relatively limited in performance.

The processor is mid-range, quite classic and well below a Core i5 for comparison with Intel, but rather at the level of an i3.

Alright, thank you for your response. It's a pity that the seller wasn't so honest; he compared the processor more to an i5, but it's not a problem, I wasn't planning on running any heavy games on it anyway.

According to the latest news, the i5 laptops are dual-core, not quad-core... And the A9 is sold on laptops.

Good evening, I would like to buy this PC, but for office use. Is this processor (which is not found in any other laptops) good and can it be compared to an i3?

For the 1 MB cache, does it really have an impact (again, no other laptop has 1 MB of cache), and does the fact that it is SSD compensate...
