No sound on acer Z3-705

Hello,
I bought this all-in-one PC on 07/13/2017, display model.
Everything was working well until today.

No sound on video even though the slider is at maximum.
I haven't touched anything.

Can someone help me?

    is the volume icon not on "mute"?

    have you tested with a music CD?

    are the speakers set as the default playback device?

    in the device manager, do you not have any ? or /!\ in yellow?

      The volume icon is not on mute.
      No sound during CD playback
      No ? or anything in the device manager.

      I hope the PC isn't broken.....

    ok, and for this:

    are the speakers the default playback device?

    right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar

    select "playback devices"

    check if the speakers are set as default



    you can also test with a headset (if you have one)

      Sorry for my delay, I just got home.
      Thank you for your response.
      I right-clicked on the "sound" icon and to my surprise, there were no speakers.
      So I clicked on troubleshoot and followed the instructions.

      After restarting, the sound came back....
      In playback, I only have the speaker icon and not the two others that appear in your model!
      It might be normal.

      Anyway, thank you for your effective advice.
      I can finally listen to videos, etc...

    So I clicked on troubleshoot and followed the instructions.
    After restarting, the sound came back....

    In playback, I only have the speaker icon and not the other two that appear in your model!
    Maybe that's normal.

    Right-click on the speaker icon, and check the 2 boxes as shown in the image



    PS: the 1st on my image is for HDMI when I connect my PC to the TV

    the 3rd is the Realtek sound manager

    I right-clicked on the "speakers" icon and both displays are already checked but no icon appears.
    On the other hand, for recording, I activated "stereo mix."

    Is there a possibility to increase it?

    Did the volume sound louder before?

    Check if you have a restore point that dates back to before your sound problem.

    full game front left and right.
    now the sound is much louder.

    So you no longer have any issues with the sound?
