Hello,

The screen of a Gigaset 610 handset is white. It is impossible to reset it, read phone numbers, etc. I saw that I had already asked this question in 2013. I changed the handset because it was under warranty. Now it is no longer. Does anyone have a solution? It's not convenient to make calls "the old-fashioned way."
Thank you.

    Hello,
    Reference 610 is incomplete.
    I suppose C610
White screen = screen off or dead battery
A long press on the "Hang Up" button activates or deactivates the display on the screen. (see instructions on page 23 (25 of the pdf below))

Dead battery: they need to be replaced with rechargeable batteries
    Technology: Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH)
    Type: AAA (Micro, HR03)
    Voltage: 1.2 V
    Capacity: 550 - 1000 mA

Thank you for your response. Yes, indeed it's C 610
I have already performed the long press technique and I get a black screen. I have also changed the batteries. And all of this was done before calling for help but with no result.
      There you go :(

If the new batteries are in line with what Gigaset claims and have a capacity of > 550mAh, I'm afraid it might be sick.... :-(
        No special shock?
