The Excel file won't open, everything is greyed out.

Hello,

I have a problem with an Excel file. When I open it, whether I click on it directly or go through Excel/open file..., it opens but everything is gray, the file name doesn't appear, yet in the formula bar there are indeed phrases and formulas from my file but no table is displayed... however, when I send the file to myself via Outlook as an attachment, it opens.
I'm really not good with computers, so your help would be appreciated.

Hello
check in the window that appears if you have the ribbon:
  • tab / View
  • paragraph "Window"

and if only "Show" is visible in bold, click on it

First of all, thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, "display" is not in bold.

Especially since I can open other Excel files normally...
