Concatenation formula issue

What’s surprising is your cell that contains the formula in text format. Try changing it to standard instead, because if you write a formula in text format, it’s indeed the formula that gets displayed.

The advantage of concatenation is that you can force it.

Try:
= A2 & " " & B2

Hello DDD,

A formula (which must start with the sign " = ") is entered in a
cell in Standard format.

However, you first entered your formula in a cell in text format =>
the formula remains displayed as it is, without being calculated.

To fix this, you need to change your cell back to Standard format, but not
only: when you are on your cell, press F2 (=> in edit mode for the
cell, and text cursor at the end of your formula) and then Enter.

You should see the result of your formula; if not, and if you have only formulas
displayed and no result, press Ctrl 3 (not the one on the numeric keypad).

No difference, I have exactly the same in my file, except that the formula is displayed as text.
