Hello/Good evening,
I have recently been a victim of a problem related to my applications on my PC that I suspect is a virus.
The issue is that I don't know where the exact source of this problem is. To describe it briefly: most of my icons on the desktop no longer have their appropriate icons (white file icon) and their size is 0 KB.
Whenever I launch the application, I get a Windows dialog box saying
"This application cannot run on your PC; To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher."
I have tried CCleaner and it hasn't done anything useful, and Windows Defender too.
Thank you for helping me with this issue.

Hello,
Try performing a system restore on Windows to revert to a previous restore point (if available) to get a functional Windows back.

To do this:
Press Windows + R

All the files stored on my SSD (system drive) were saved, but most of the others stored on my HDD (most of which are games) still have the same problem :(
0 kb file etc?
You wouldn't happen to have the games in 32-bit and Windows in 64-bit, would you?
