My screen won't turn on

Hello
I bought a new desktop computer today (Fujitsu ESPRIMO P400) (it's refurbished). Having already a monitor that I have been using for a few years (AOC 23.6" LCD - 2436Vwa) on my old computer, I installed it on the new one. But my monitor doesn't turn on, the computer turns on fine but the monitor doesn't respond; the power button LED is orange (which I believe means it's in sleep mode). When I press the power button, the screen displays "VGA no signal" and goes back to sleep. Do you have any ideas about the problem? (Knowing that it worked at the store because I saw the technician using it)
Thank you in advance.

If the PC has a graphics card, you must connect the monitor to it because the motherboard ports are disabled by the graphics card.
