Hello,
I am posting to ask for help regarding the drivers for my computer. I received a Polaroid Pro Notebook 14.1" (yes, apparently they make laptops) MPC1445 as a birthday gift. During the first startup, the installation under Windows 10 went normally, but I immediately noticed that most of the drivers were not installed correctly, or not installed at all! Indeed, although the Wi-Fi card works, the sound card is not recognized, the driver for the screen is so poorly installed that the brightness cannot be adjusted, it does not detect the micro-SD port (which is present under Linux), and I have no access to any settings regarding battery power management.
(Windows does not distinguish between AC power and battery usage. I cannot see the battery charge level).
I want to emphasize that I have already looked at the standard procedures for brightness, battery icon, or sound icon, but the problem seems much deeper, and requires me to find the appropriate drivers for this laptop.
My second issue is that I do not know the manufacturer of this product labeled "Polaroid". After some research, the BIOS seems to indicate American Megadrives, and the motherboard manufacturer is said to be a certain AMI. However, there is nothing from either of these two companies regarding this computer. I am not talking about the Polaroid website, which does not acknowledge the existence of such a product.
I have already performed one or more system restorations / soft resets, without success, and most of the drivers are also unknown under Linux. (For Linux users, this PC has a 32-bit UEFI, and you need to add a "bootia32.efi" file, or something like that, to be able to boot into a Linux distro).
Disclaimer: I know this computer is pretty terrible, that it comes from the depths of Chinese production, and that it is the equivalent of a tablet with a keyboard and mouse (and even then), but lacking better options, I would still like it to work properly without having to return it to the store.
Here is the only information I have regarding the hardware of the computer (this excludes most 'filled-by-OEM' drivers as I have no information about them).

Hello, I also have the same problem as you. I had to contact Polaroid customer service France, and they told me they would send me a USB key with the drivers, but since I'm in Réunion Island, they only ship to mainland France unfortunately. I'm still waiting; I gave the address of a friend who lives in mainland France, so I’m waiting for a response. I suggest you contact Polaroid customer service with the number you should be able to find easily on the Polaroid website.
this famous PC is sold in the United States under the name Epik Learning, LLC ELL1401
The configuration is identical in every way except for the keyboard (but we don't care much about that)
you will find the drivers at this address
https://drp.su/en/laptops/epik-learning-llc/ell1401?os=windows-10-x86
As for me, I tried to install Linux which failed ..
I no longer have access to the BIOS for now, if someone knows how to reset it, I would appreciate it
