Difference between 5V = 1.0 A and 5V = 2.4 A

Hello!

Recently, I ordered a Vinsic 20000mAH power bank to charge my smartphone, but what I forgot to check before buying it was whether the output of the two USB 2.0 ports matches my smartphone charger. When I checked, I saw that the power bank has an output of 5V 2.4A, but my charger indicates 5V 1.0A.
What is the difference between these two ports since both are labeled 5V, with just 1.0A and 2.4A?

Hey

No problem with having an external power supply of 2.4A.
Your smart device will use what it needs; if it requires 1A to charge, you'll have 1.4A left for another smart device or any other gadget that needs a 1A charge.
