      Hello, I would like to know if you still have the manual for the Transcontinent TR 708 DX portable DVD player. I bought one at Office Depot (Paris) and there was no manual included. I am having an issue connecting via the USB port; I want to connect a 2.5-inch Samsung hard drive with a capacity of 160 GB in an Advance enclosure (Rue Montgallet) and when I plug it in, the DVD player starts to detect it for a second and then it immediately disconnects. However, when I plug in a Fujitsu Siemens external hard drive with a capacity of 320 GB (powered via mains), it works without any problems. I called Siemtech, and they told me that the port is USB 1.0 and does not recognize the USB 2.0 hard drive, while the Fujitsu drive is USB 2.0 (but supposedly backwards compatible). Does yours work with an external hard drive? Thank you for your information. Best regards, Paul.
