Keyboard settings to improve "sensitivity"

Hello,

Here is my problem:
In games (FPS), when I press the movement keys, it results in rather "heavy" and "long" movements. I can't just make a small movement.
(For example, to try to align myself with an object on the ground or on the wall, I have to make numerous left/right movements to finally align myself (hopefully at the end)…

I was able to compare with another player... I get incredibly imprecise movements...
Another example: a brief press on my keyboard results in a mouse shift of 1cm (while at my friend's it would be a few mm)

Does the problem come from the keyboard itself? (Logitech in my case)
Is there a setting to improve this "sensitivity" of the keyboard?
I've looked a bit in the control panel and in the software provided with the keyboard, but I didn't find anything.

I hope I have clearly laid out my problem, and I thank in advance those who may have a solution to my issue!

Have a good end of the day.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 52.0

Hello,

To begin with, it is impossible to adjust the sensitivity of your keyboard keys for the simple reason that it is a mechanical action that sends a signal of a certain duration X to your computer.
This is part of your keyboard's features.

What is the model of your Logitech keyboard?

By any chance, does your friend happen to have a gaming-oriented keyboard?

This is a Logitech G810 mechanical keyboard.

My friend's is indeed gaming-oriented (Razer Blackwidow)

Mine is also gaming-oriented, right?
I don’t understand the final difference which is really obvious...

In any case, thank you for your quick response.

Indeed, the G810 is geared towards video gaming.

Have you installed the drivers for your keyboard? Is this a problem that has just appeared?

I will check if I can update the drivers...

No, the problem has always been there. But I only realized it when comparing it with another computer.

As for the computer's specs, his is not more powerful...

I doubt that a configuration affects the performance of a keyboard.

First, check if any newer drivers are available. Download them, install them, and test them on your usual game.
