My apps "crash unexpectedly"

Hello,
I downloaded OpenOffice on my Mac and when I try to open it, a message appears: OpenOffice has unexpectedly quit.
I checked the settings and nothing seems out of order. I then downloaded LibreOffice and the same problem occurred.
Can you help me?

    A little check of permissions and disk repairs can help in this case :)
