Line break with Word

Hello,
Since today, when I open a new Word file and go to the next line, the cursor on the next line appears at the bottom of the page. Then, as I add more line breaks, the gap between the lines reduces until it reaches a single line spacing. I should note that, in paragraphs, everything indicates a single line spacing. The same goes for File>Options>Advanced Options.
