Hello geek friends,
Context: I scan a text from a newspaper and I retrieve an image in PDF format. I copy the text from this PDF that I paste into Word. The text is impeccable except for the fact that the narrow original columns are respected.
I would like to remove all line breaks (¶) so I can create my own layout.
Problem: to perform a Find-Replace, it would be necessary to type the following character ¶ in the Find-Replace function. Unable to do this, I went to look for it in the character map (it can be obtained by the sequence Alt+0182)
Problem: the Find function stops just before the ¶ at the end of each line. (This is my interpretation of the phenomenon).
Thank you for your help. Jojodesbatignoles

    Hello,

The return paragraph is ^p even if it is visually represented by the character ¶.

Big thanks to M@rina. I just used this information and it worked very well. Late info: I am on Win10 and using Word 2010. Jojodesbatignoles
