How to block a number and stop receiving SMS on Samsung

Question

Hello, I am being harassed by a stranger who sends me 50 text messages and MMS a day. I called my operator who told me to save the number in contacts as "Unknown" and then press the contact and add it to the reject list. I did that but I keep receiving his messages and MMS!!! I have a Samsung SM G 386F. What should I do?? Thank you for your help! Configuration: Windows / Chrome 56.0.2924.87

I checked the client area but found nothing, I called the operator twice and they only talked to me about the rejection list.... I hope I don't have to change my number just because of a crazy person!

Hello To blacklist a number for calls and SMS, you need to go through your SMS app (Messages), so open your SMS app and then tap on menu or settings. After that, you add that unknown number to the blacklist... If needed, there are apps on the Play Store that can block, like Avast or Should I Answer, etc.

There is no reason why this shouldn't work.. works very well on my S4. For your additional information, we can block calls and SMS independently from each other, so I think you have only blocked calls..
