Hello,
I just got a Mac and I'm already encountering a problem. Whenever I try to install software, the computer asks me for a password. So I try using my account password, but it turns out that's not the one.
Therefore, I would like to know how to find out that damn password or if there's anything else I can do?
Thank you in advance for your response!
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 10.0.2

Hello,
The password requested is that of a Mac user who is also an Administrator user. If you are personally using a session as a standard user, and not as an Administrator, you need to enter the Mac Administrator's username and password.
Every Mac must have at least one Administrator user.
