Hello,
MAC OS High Sierra is asking for the administrator password for every file movement.
It's unthinkable to work this way. How can I remove this perfectly useless procedure?
This issue has already been raised by another member, but I haven't seen the solution.
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Macintosh / Firefox 59.0

Hello,
obviously this procedure doesn't make sense.
If this occurs, it indicates that there is an anomaly in the permissions of the files or folders you are using.
This can happen when you are working in a directory or with files/folders that belong to another user.
Select a file that might cause this behavior, and request to read the information to see, at the bottom of the window, if you have read AND write permissions. Example:
Optionally, before using another application, such as Batchmod for instance, use Onyx to repair permissions:

Best regards.
