Grundig TV remote control issue

Hello,
I have a problem since this morning. When I turn on my TV, I can navigate with the remote for about fifteen seconds, then suddenly, nothing!!
None of the buttons work, the screen stays on the channel where it stopped.
I can see that the diode responds when I press a button, but nothing happens. The same goes for on/off.
Do you have a solution? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Try unplugging the power cord, wait a quarter of an hour, and plug it back in.
If that doesn't work and you have access to the menu, perform a "reset" or "factory settings reset" or "initial setup" (see menu) but you will have to redo the entire installation and settings.
