Unable to access my television menu with remote

My TV is a TECHWOOD small screen but I don't have any other reference...
My universal remote is: TU-9534 OPTEX
My question is as follows: I can change my channels, adjust the volume but when I press the "menu" button a message appears on my television:
- "no player connected or initialization failure. Recording and playback functions have been disabled."
I absolutely do not use the DVD player.
What I want: simply to be able to adjust the color! because it is very dark...
How can I enter the menu to adjust the color, contrast, etc...

This remote control is not properly programmed, if you still have the manual try another code for the Techwood brand, otherwise, try resetting the remote control and doing the automatic programming, see this manual:
