Hello,
when I go to my desktop, library, video, documents... I can no longer find the left pane of the file explorer. I don't understand why it has disappeared. Could this be related to a Microsoft update (my Office 365 has expired)?
Thank you for your help

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 56.0.2924.87

    Good evening,

    Which Windows do you have?

    For Windows 10, for example:

    Open your file explorer.

Click on the View tab at the top left.

    Then click/check Navigation pane.

After finding a solution, remember to mark your topic as SOLVED!!!
It's always nice for those who help you... THANK YOU!!! :-)

Windows 10 or 8, the method remains the same...

There is a problem distinguishing left from right :-)

The method I provided is to make the left pane reappear.

It's the one where you have: favorites; desktop; recent locations; downloads; library; pictures; videos; drive C/; drive D/ ........................

It's normal because you misread what I wrote in the first message:

Then click/check Navigation pane and not visualization

      ;-)

And there's no link with Office, this pane is built into Windows.
