Hello,
I have an integration problem with Antidote in Word. I want the spell checker to appear in my word processing window for direct use on the current text.
I am using Windows 7 Pro 64 bits, Antidote 8 version 5.1, Word 2003.
Everything works independently: Antidote is installed correctly, I have access to all functions, Word works fine, and its internal spell checker is functional. Windows has a firewall, and the antivirus is MSE.
All the advice I find leads me to
1) in Word, right-click on the toolbar and check Antidote. I don’t see Antidote in the list.
2) In Antidote, launch the integrator and check in the list for Word. I only see three options: Firefox, Chrome, Thunderbird. No Word and nothing was offered to me during installation.
Note that the spell checker set up "by itself" with Notepad: I have a small external window that gives me access to the checker, synonyms, definitions... exactly what I would like in Word.
First question: Is Word 2003 compatible with Antidote 8 5.1, or do I need a more recent version of Office?
Second question: I am probably missing a library file. What is its name or where can I download it?
Thank you for your reading, looking forward to your advice.
Have a nice day.
Jean
