Deleting read-only files

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on which I installed Word. I received several files from my friends for classes, and some are read-only. I was sorting through them and tried to delete them, but unfortunately, every time I try, I'm told "You are not authorized to delete this file." Does anyone know how to do this?
Thank you.

    Hello

    Try the following thing:
Right-click on the file and then Properties.
Under the first tab (General), is the Read-only option checked?
    If so, uncheck it.

If not, there might be a password to ask your friends for.

      Hi M@rina,
On a Galaxy, I have a bad feeling about it.
