Missing display tab Solved

Hello, I no longer have my "view" icon on Word and I therefore no longer have access to my toolbar at all... help! Thanks! Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 49.0.2623.112

Which version of Word is this about? Which version of Mac OS X? When you talk about the "View" icon, what exactly are you referring to (the "View" menu, the "View" tab in the ribbon, something else...) ?

To retrieve your toolbar, simply choose the menu "View -> Toolbars" and check what you want to see:

By checking "Standard" and "Formatting," you'll get this:

Now, to display the ribbon with the tabs "Home, Layout, ..., Review," you need to open the menu "Word -> Preferences ..." and select the "Ribbon" tab:

Then check "Enable the Ribbon":
