In fact, you ended up with this type of display for your Word document:


To retrieve your toolbar, simply choose the menu "View -> Toolbars" and check what you want to see:


By checking "Standard" and "Formatting," you'll get this:


Now, to display the ribbon with the tabs "Home, Layout, ..., Review," you need to open the menu "Word -> Preferences ..." and select the "Ribbon" tab:


Then check "Enable the Ribbon":
