Alcatel 330duo: out of range

Hello, I just purchased the Alcatel 330 Duo... I've connected everything properly and waited 24 hours for the battery to charge, and since then I only get one message "OUT OF RANGE." What should I do, please?

    Hello
    I assume that these two tips in the manual (page 36) have been verified. 
    The message "OUT OF RANGE" is displayed.
    a. The handset is out of range of the base. 
    Move closer to the base.
    b. The base is not connected to the power supply.
    Plug the base into a power outlet.

    So try the pairing procedure for a handset taken from page 28

     Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
                                  Especially when it's not there...
