I disabled my graphics card - black screen

Hello,

I've been lagging in a certain game for quite a while, and I never thought about whether it could be related to my graphics card until today.
I have a GTX970, and I had the brilliant idea to disable the window between it and the operating system because I thought my lag issues might come from my computer having to manage two graphics cards at the same time, which was unnecessary, and that by disabling the window, my computer would then use the GTX970.
What a big mistake. A black screen appeared immediately after the deactivation. I can hear the Windows sounds behind it, but I can't see anything at all, and it's the same at startup; I don't see any logos or anything that appears, so I cannot start in safe mode.
I tried inserting the Windows disk, but nothing works; the black screen persists, completely paralyzing me in any potential manipulations.
I have already seen several threads on this topic, but none have helped me. So I'm turning to this new question, hoping you can assist me.
Thank you in advance.
I want to clarify that I do not have a high level of knowledge in computer hardware.

    Hi,

If you have disabled the 970, connect the monitor to the motherboard and restart the PC.
To turn it off without display, press the Power button once without holding it down.
    The PC should turn off.
Then you should regain the display and reactivate the 970.

Thank you for your response, but how can I connect my motherboard to my monitor? Does this happen from the outside or do I need to open my case?

At the back of the tower, there should be several video connectors.
The ones on the graphics card (usually HDMI, DVI, and maybe DisplayPort since yours is a 970).
On the motherboard, there is a DVI.
So you need to unplug the cable from the graphics card and plug it into the motherboard.
      Which cable are you using?

Alright, I have the back of my tower, I unplugged the cable, but when reconnecting it to the motherboard, it's too small. The motherboard's source for the cable is much larger.
If I'm not mistaken, and I read correctly, the cable is a BN39-00244L 1510 UX.

Is the cable connection blue or white?
