Hello everyone,
If I'm coming to ask for your help today, it's because I have a huge problem on my hands, and unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a solution online.
Let me explain:
I recently bought an entry-level Graphics Card to be able to play games that aren't too demanding and thus engage in my activities without particular slowdowns. After receiving my Graphics Card (which was brand new, I want to emphasize), I immediately installed it on my PC, and after a few minutes, the GPU is set up.
I start my PC, and there, surprise! My screen displays "switching to sleep mode" and then automatically goes to sleep. So, I search for a few hours to figure out what the problem is, and find nothing. I first suspected my Motherboard, but it was working perfectly, even though it's quite old. Then I suspected the Power Supply, which is a 230 Watts, a Chinese brand, as usual with pre-built systems. And there, I thought, no, that's not it, because otherwise, my PC definitely wouldn't have started, at least the tower.
After a few hours of searching, I see that my PC starts up after 50 resets... So, I install the graphics drivers, uninstall the graphics chipset, then everything is fine, I turn off my PC and go to sleep. The next day, I come back, and here we go again, it won't start again, so at that moment, I suspect a bad connection, but no, nothing. Then I do a Clear CMOS, but nothing, I take out the battery from the motherboard, but STILL nothing.
Then, out of ideas, I give up, and I come back a few hours later, and everything works again, then it doesn't work anymore. I'm now writing this using my Graphics Chipset and not my GPU, which is very inconvenient.
PS: I've checked my BIOS and I've really tried everything, but nothing works.
That's my problem in detail, and now I'll give you my configuration (rather shocking ^^'):
- Motherboard: Asus M2N-MX SE
- 2GB of DDR2 RAM
- Graphics Card: GeForce GT630 1GDDR3
- Operating System: Windows 7 - 32 Bits
( If you need more information, feel free to ask )
Thank you in advance :).

More precisely, go to the settings of your graphics card (look for NVIDIA Control Panel), then go to "Set PhysX configuration" and in the dropdown menu, select your GPU (GT 630), then "apply" your settings. There you go, I hope I helped you.

Hello, if you have a graphics chipset on your motherboard, disable it and activate your new graphics card (GT630) in the BIOS.

I have already tried to do it, but my BIOS is quite vague; we cannot disable it from my BIOS, but I disabled it from Windows.

Ah well, go back where you disabled your GPU in Windows and reactivate it.

Problem solved, it works normally now...
Totally weird this PC. xD -
Hi yeah I admit don't worry I've had a computer like that too #^_^
