insect stuck in the screen Solved

Question

Hello everyone, I have a little bug about 4 pixels stuck on my screen which is of course annoying. How do you think I should go about getting rid of it?

Hello, is it possible to send my laptop to the service center so they can clean my screen (I have 2 little bugs clearly visible on the screen, which is annoying). Then my father paid the "modest sum" of €200 for a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, and I've had it for a year and a half, so it would be a shame to lose the warranty by opening it...

Hi,
If you recently bought the screen from LDLC, you might want to reach out to their customer service... otherwise, you can always unscrew the covers and try to fix it yourself, but... then you'll void the warranty on your device!!!

yeah he's dead, he's not very big, just a few mm, but it's annoying.

I don't think my screen is still under warranty, I'm going to try the vacuum first through the air vents, otherwise I'll try to unscrew and open my screen, we'll see, I'll keep you updated...

Hello, I have the problem that a bug has gotten into the screen of my FUJITSU-SIEMENS laptop. The bug (about the size of a computer mouse tail) moves gradually.

I’ve noticed this bug for 2 days and it has moved from the left side of the screen to the right side, plus it wiggles in all directions. It goes in all directions.

It’s annoying because when I’m playing on the computer or writing a report, this bug is always there! I’ve turned off the screen but I can still see it. Please, can someone help me? Thank you.

Unfortunately, mine will never come out on its own.
Sometimes I get tricked depending on where it lands on the open document, and it gives me a bar on the "c" that I then mistake for a "q" for example.
Otherwise, I almost manage to forget it.

There is also an insect in my computer (well, my father's, mine is intact... for now). The little creature measures barely one or two millimeters and is wandering all over the screen. I was just wondering if it was a real insect and would eventually die, and since it's small, it's not too bothersome, or if it could be a virus... an insect that would be roaming around to destroy programs... I don't know much about it, so I'm asking!

Hi everyone,
I had the same problem with "storm bugs." I tried a lot of things including compressed air, the vacuum cleaner, etc... but nothing worked. I then removed the cover located at the back of the screen, put the smallest nozzle on the vacuum, and slid it along the panel to create a depression, and it worked. To avoid this type of problem in the future, I applied a long-lasting insecticide (they claim effectiveness for 6 months on the aerosol) before reattaching the cover. I hope that's enough to keep any intruders away.
PS: my screen was no longer under warranty, but I didn't see anything that might indicate it had been opened.

I'm not sure the insecticide is effective... even worse.

These storm bugs are carried by air currents... so whether there’s insecticide or not, once the bug gets onto your LCD, it has time to enter and surely die if we use insecticide. My bug entered, disappeared, then came back (or another one, and finally it disappeared again (or dead on one side).

Anyway, if luck isn't on your side, you'll have to disassemble and use the vacuum technique... but the insecticide seems superfluous to me.

Hello, I have some dust under the screen of my monitor, but while flirting on MSN tonight ^^ I had the incredible surprise of seeing a creature about 1 cm long and 2 to 3 mm wide come out of my screen... anyway, quite a scary experience.

Hello everyone, so here's my problem: I have a dead insect inside my screen and it's red!! And the worst part is I don't know if it's actually in the screen or not; it's those black bastards that I squished when I closed my screen!!!! I'm on a 17.4" laptop
Well, it's okay as long as it's not in the middle of the screen, but I want to get rid of that red thing!!! So how do I do that?
I'm on a Dell Studio 17 laptop.

I only have one piece of advice: if your insect is alive, I suggest using a white screen for 10 minutes. It makes them leave. If that doesn't work, annoy them with the mouse pointer to get them moving. If they're dead... I recommend calling a specialist.

It's still crazy that such tiny little creatures can be so irritating.
