The process com.android.systemui has stopped

Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Since yesterday, I can no longer close my applications. When I hold down the central button to do so, the following message appears: the process com.android.systemui has stopped. Then there is a black screen behind the icons and it asks for the password again. Otherwise, it works normally.
But if I can't close my applications, it's going to become a problem at some point. Can someone help me? Thank you very much.

    Good evening,
    It’s the latest Google update that’s causing the phone to crash, so go to the application manager, select Google app, and then uninstall updates. Be careful not to update this app again, or the problem will come back.
