Hello,
I’m using the CS3 series and some software to read PDFs.
I wanted to send a document to a client in PDF format to show him what the flyer created in InDesign looks like, and it turns out that the PDF comes out with a kind of "veil" and changes my colors... In InDesign, I have the right colors on screen, the suite colors are in "Europe 2," and I’m exporting in Fogra27. I sent him a PDF yesterday and everything was fine, but today when I export, things aren’t working and I haven’t changed anything, as far as I can tell...
However, my black background turns into anthracite gray in the PDF, and my Bordeaux red... isn’t Bordeaux...
P.S.: It’s not a screen calibration issue since both the InDesign file and the PDF are viewed on the same screen.
This happened to me several years ago, and I can’t remember how I got out of this nightmare, but it took me three days... Thanks for your bright ideas! ^^

If your document is in CMYK, do not embed a profile in your PDF export, and do not convert to a profile.
Leave "No color conversion" and "Do not embed profiles"
In a CMYK document (for color separation), the colors are already defined. If your cyan is at 30%, it should be at 30% on paper without a profile altering it.
