Hello,
I am trying to find out how to remove a recurring sign on my documents that looks like a right bracket: [ or even: ]. But it is thinner and larger.
I can't seem to remove it from the text on screen, even though it doesn't appear in the printed text.
If anyone can help me resolve this issue, I would be very grateful.
Best regards,
Michel-Jean

Hello,
Brackets are a sign of... bookmarks! ;)
A bookmark isn't harmful, but it didn't come alone.
To delete bookmarks: Insert tab, Links group => Bookmarks
There you can see the entire list of bookmarks and you can delete them.
You can also just choose not to see them, without deleting them:
File tab => Options => Advanced Options => Document content display => uncheck "Show bookmarks".

I am always amazed to see that there are people who have an answer for everything in the field of IT! In other areas, it's a different story; they tend to bore me!
Best regards.
Michel Jean
To say that I have all the answers in the field of IT would be a lie!
That said, when it comes to office software, yes I have a bit of an answer for everything, but that's my job... so that's a bit normal! I've done x training sessions on the software, and I've written about twenty books on the subject, so I would be unforgivable if I didn’t know all this!! :)
Have a great rest of the day and good luck with the next steps.
